Yes, exfoliation assists with removing dead skin cell build up that can contribute to problematic skin.

It is more common for problematic skin types to experience some breakouts after a peel. This is due to the purging of the pores as the skin exfoliates and rejuvenates. Sometimes skin will get worse before it gets better.

Aspect™ Professional Peels help to speed up the exfoliation process leading to smoother texture, reducing the appearance of wrinkles for a more youthful-looking complexion. Deep wrinkles or dynamic lines may be softened, however, for the most superior results it is advised to follow a treatment program that includes multiple treatment types.

Aspect™ Professional Peels help to minimise the appearance of superficial hyperpigmentation, sun damage and uneven skin tone. There are several varieties of pigmentation, some very challenging to eradicate. An Aspect™ Professional Therapist will asses skin and explain what results to expect.

Always apply peels around the outer periphery of the face first and work into the centre last. The outer areas are generally thicker, more tolerant and possibly oilier. This will reduce the risk of over treatment of the cheeks and nasolabial folds which are typically sensitive areas.

If the peel solution accidentally gets into the eye:

  1. Open eyelid gently and wash eye with cold flowing water for 20 mins.
  2. Place eye pad or light clean dressing only over the injured eye.
  3. Contact Physician.
